I'd like to formally acknowledge my presence and point out that using yellow text on a white background makes it hard to read. Jackass.
I'll be posting new comics just about every Friday or so, with frightening and awe inspiring comments. Occasionally a new sketch I'm all proud of or what have yah will be thrown up here as well.
But, on to the meat and potatoes of my post: Wrestlemania
Can't say I'll do this every month (or with TNA at all), but I'll give a semi annual prediction post on what I'm excited about. On to the card!
25 Diva Battle Royal
- Divas from Raw, Smackdown and ECW will compete along with WWE Divas from the past.
Can't say this match will have any impact, WWE "diva" events have just been about t and a more than competition. I'm guessing we'll have appearances from Trish, Molly Holly, more than likely Mae Young. As for who will win? Someone still on the roster is a definite, and I'm going with Gail Kim to win.
Unified WWE Tag Team Championship Lumberjack Match
- WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo vs. World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz.
This just makes sense, seeing as both sets of belts have been held on different rosters at different times. The real question is which belts will remain (heres hoping one of each will be carried). To pick a team is too gosh darn hard, since I can come up with equal reasons why each should win. So lets just go with Carlito and Primo.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
- JBL (c) vs. Rey Mysterio.
JBL said he wants to do something historic, and could it be that he's the first guy to defend the IC belt in lord knows how long at Wrestlemania? That seems a bit of a let down. I'll bring up later what it could be, but for now lets just say Rey will take the belt. Further supports my later theory.
"Money in the Bank" Ladder Match
- CM Punk vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. WWE U.S. Champion MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Christian vs. Finlay.
I'll just run through the options. CM Punk won it before, could be the first to win it twice in a row, but I doubt it. Kane seems to be on a roll, but that also makes it too obvious to be the winner. Mark Henry, good loyal talent, but I don't see it. MVP has a real good shot, the only thing going against him is having that US belt, but he's more likely than most. Shelton is one of my top choices; he's been the highlight in just about all the MITB's and could finaly win the damn thing. Kofi is another top choice, simply because he's good but also not obvious. I don't think Christian regrets signing back with WWE, and he deserves a good push, but I don't think it'll be here if at all. Finlay, no, not a chance.
So my choices go from most potential to not a chance: MVP, Shelton, Kofi, Kane, CM Punk, Christian, Henry and Finlay.
"Extreme Rules" Match
- Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy.
Matt as a heel has a much better chance at main eventing than Matt as a Face. I'm picking him to win, but if he doesn't then he'll beat the holy hell out of Jeff after the match to lead to the follow up match at the next PPV.
Elimination Match
- Chris Jericho vs. Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat & Jimmy Snuka with Ric Flair at ringside.
I swear I called this match a month ago, I only wish the list of legends kept growing. You can bet that all the legends will get their moments to shine, with Jericho eliminating them in devious manners. Even with the supposed Mickey Rourke appearance, I'm still going with Jericho to pull off the win, since it does more for him than the legends.
- The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels.
If Taker ever had a better chance at his streak ending, I'd like to hear it. I'm still picking Taker to win, since no talk of retirement have been heard of, and it only seems fitting that he'll go out at the biggest event of the year for WWE. Now hears my crazy idea, whether Taker wins or not, JBL will attempt to cost him the match. Think about it, that is a hell of a lot more historic than an IC title defense, and all three men have history with each other. I'm still betting on Taker though, and this will be the match of the night.
World Heavyweight Championship Match
- Edge (c) vs. John Cena vs. Big Show.
The only question is where which World Title where will go after the show. I'm betting on the World belt staying on Smackdown, and just for fun lets say Big Show will keep it there. The big guy deserves another run with the belt and I can easily see it happening.
WWE Championship Match
- Triple H (c) vs. Randy Orton.
Simply put, Orton is a great heel, and Triple H probably wants off Smackdown. There for, Orton gets the belt over to Raw, and Triple H gets drafted back to Raw to keep the feud going.
Well, done and done. Stick it up your ass John.
